I like to make sure I eat plenty of greens throughout the day and one way I ensure I do this is by starting the day with a green smoothie or smoothie Bowl. Green smoothies are a great way of getting a heap of nutrients in before your day has begun.
2 large handful of greens leaves mix (I like to use spinach and Kale) 1 handful of frozen or fresh pineapple 1 scoop of plant based vanilla protein powder (this is the brand I use https://sunwarrior.com) 1 teaspoon of maca powder
Half an avocado 1 cup of coconut water Squeeze of half a lemon
Optional Toppings: Bee pollen, nuts and seeds, cacoa nibs, coconut flakes, berries
1) Put all the ingredients in the blender and blitz
2) Give a shake and blitz again to make sure it is really smooth
*Add more water if required but should be a thick smoothie consistency*
